Here’s to strong women. May we know them, may we be them, may we raise them.

I have some really important, strong moms in my life that I learn from on a daily basis… my mom, my godmother, my grandmother, and my mother-in-law.

These are incredibly strong, opinionated, hard working, loving women that deserve the world. So I just wanted to take a minute to recognize how special they all are.

My mother is a saint, she puts up with me and my brother and does so gracefully (when I know we can be a handful). She somehow managed to put up with us and raise us into independent, strong adults. If you need to know more, check out my blog post about All About Mom!

My godmother has basically been my second mom for the last 28 years of my life. She is responsible for my love of books, from The Very Hungry Caterpillar to Harry Potter. Aunt Chele also has already started a list of books for my non-existent child’s library… so I have a feeling she will carry on the reading genes to my children.

My grandmother was and still is my hero. She was the best grandma ever… we got anything we wanted, Pepsi for breakfast was a must! She taught me how to play tennis and to sew. She was probably one of the strongest people I ever met, she fought breast cancer for years and never complained. She was always worried about everyone else and never about herself. She was inspiring.

My mother-in-law has done so many things for me. She is responsible for finding me my job, finding Nick and I our house, and for giving me Nick. She raised him and his two brothers into smart, funny, caring, great guys. She has also taken me in as part of their family from the start and I am thankful for everything she has done.

Hi! I am a teacher, dogmom, future wife, and blogger. I spend most of my days teaching writing to seventh and eighth graders and then coming home to hang out with my lovable pups! You will get a little bit of everything on this page, but mostly just my diy/cricut projects, my teaching stories, and my life hacks for everything from a-z.
