Today at school I had the kids respond to a journal prompt asking them if they could go anywhere in the world, where would they go. I got some great answers and then one of my students asked me where I would go. After some reflection, I came up with a list of places that I would like to visit someday.
The first place on my list is Italy. I would love to go to Italy someday to see the sights and eat all of the pasta (I wouldn’t mind drinking all of the wine as well). Venice, Naples, Sicily, and Florence are all places I would like to see.
The second place on my list is Greece. The blue water and beautiful homes are a scene I wouldn’t mind seeing in person. The sights are truly breathtaking and seeing them in person would be amazing.
The last place on my list is France. After taking five years of French in high school and one year of French in college, I am itching to go and experience the French culture first hand! The Eiffel Tour, L’arc de Triomphe, the Louvre Museum, Notre Dame, the list goes on and on!
Hopefully someday I can get to at least one of these places! But the reflection on where I would want to visit was pretty cool, and the fact that I did it with my kids was even better.
