Thanksgiving Decorations

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I thought I would talk about how I get festive for the holiday. After Halloween, these decorations seem like nothing to me (this is pretty simple in comparison!). I usually bring out my simple fall decorations to enjoy the time between two of my favorite holidays.

With Thanksgiving/fall decorations I usually just stick to my living room and dining room. In the dining room, I use festive placemats on the table that have some pumpkins and gourds on them, and use a fall centerpiece with colored leaves and gourds. I also like to throw some pumpkins on the table as well.

I usually put out a couple of fall/Thanksgiving themed signs and redo my chalkboard to match the holiday theme. This year I went with “gobble ‘til you wobble…” Also in my living room, I put out some fall themed pillows and some extra pumpkins around. My favorite decoration for Thanksgiving has to be my little turkeys though. They sit on my sofa table and keep an eye on things all month long.
