Pizza Pasta Casserole Healthy Dinner

Another easy casserole dish that is low calorie and delicious!. It tastes great reheated too! We make this casserole every couple of weeks at our house and then we have leftovers for a couple days for lunch that we can enjoy as well.


8 oz whole wheat pasta

½ lb ground turkey

1 tsp garlic

1 tsp olive oil

1 yellow onion diced

2 bell peppers diced

1 jar light pasta sauce

1 tsp italian seasoning

1 cup mozzarella cheese

Slices of turkey pepperoni


Step 1: Cook pasta

Step 2: Cook ground turkey, onion, peppers, and garlic

Step 3: Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 4: Add sauce and seasoning, mix well. Add pasta and mix well. 

Step 5: Transfer to casserole dish. Top with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese

Step 6: Bake uncovered 20-25 minutes
