Lemon Drop Recipe

We celebrated my cousin’s 21st birthday last weekend, so I have a couple cocktail recipes for you this week. I am starting off with a lemon drop. It was a big hit and I will definitely be making it again.

4 ounces of vodka (I used Tito’s because it’s my favorite)

2 ounces of lemon simple syrup (I will put the recipe below)

3 tablespoons of lemon juice

Lemon twists

Ingredients for Simple Syrup:

1 cup water

1 cup sugar

Lemon wedge

Assembly for Simple Syrup:

Add water and sugar in a medium pan and bring to a boil. Allow the mixture to reduce down and then cook for 5 minutes.

Add the lemon wedge and let cool completely. This can be saved in any jar or bottle.

Assembly for the Lemon Drop:

Step 1: Fill a glass with ice.

Step 2: Add vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup.

Step 3: Stir and add lemon wedges/twists.

Step 4: Enjoy
