Need something warm on a cold day? Or an easy meal to throw in the crockpot and cook while you are working? Fiesta chili is a great option. The prep can all be done the night before and kept in a ziplock bag in the fridge until you are ready to put it in the crock pot. With all the chilly weather we have been eating chili like crazy!
Ingredients:
1 pound ground turkey
1 clove of garlic
1 can kidney beans
½ cup chopped yellow onions
1 ½ cups corn
1 bell pepper diced
3 cups low sodium chicken broth
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp pepper
½ tsp salt
Assembly:
Step 1: Brown turkey and put in the crock pot.
Step 2: Add everything to the crockpot, cook on low 6-8 hours.
