I am going crazy, stir crazy! I am struggling because I am an extremely social person, I am also a big hugger. Staying home with just my Fiance and the two dogs can be frustrating when I usually spend my days with 100 students and multiple team members. Being stuck in quarantine is not at all what I want to do, and I found myself getting a little bored. After scouring the internet I didn’t really find a list of things to do or anything of that nature, so I started my own list of things I could do to stay sane and not go crazy after being locked in the house for a couple weeks or (god forbid) months!
Learn a New Skill
Learn how to draw, play an instrument, speak a new language, knitting, crocheting, dancing, whatever you want! Just get your brain working
Take Care of Your Electronics
There is no better time to get your electronics in order. Backup your phone and computer to an external hard drive, delete old contacts that you don’t need anymore, clear out old pictures and videos, get your phone like new again!
Do Some Online Shopping
It is never too early to start coming up with ideas for Christmas and Birthday presents! Treat yourself to something too! Look for those things that you have been putting off buying; there is no time like the present
Do some self care
Take this time to take care of yourself! Get moving everyday, whether it’s a walk around the block or an online workout to break a sweat. Take a bubble bath, do an at home facial, deep condition your hair, whatever you can do to better yourself and relax! Use this time away to really glow up!
Try a DIY
There are a ton of DIY projects that you can find online. Find one to get those creative juices flowing in your brain. It can be anything you want. Just get creative!
Stay sane, stay safe, stay strong. Things will get better! Power through and be positive!
